Privacy policy

• Account details: your name, email address, the type of research you do, and your password, which we store only as a one-way hash.
• Membership records: whether your request is pending, approved, or declined, when that was decided, and any VIP code attached to your account.
• Acknowledgment records: for each research-use acknowledgment, one per browser and device you use, the version you agreed to, the statements as shown, the time, your IP address, and your browser’s user agent. Orders placed before October 16, 2026 also carry a per-order re-affirmation.
• Orders: what you ordered, prices, payment status, and the shipping name and address you give at checkout.
• Security data: your sign-in sessions, with the IP address and browser each was started from, and counts of recent sign-in attempts, used to protect accounts from abuse.
• Email preferences: which notifications you have switched off.

We do not collect card numbers; payment is made outside the site by the methods shown at checkout.

• To review membership requests and run the access gate.
• To process, ship, and support your orders.
• To keep a record that you agreed to the research-use terms, which we may need to show to regulators or in a dispute.
• To send account and order emails, such as email confirmation, password resets, approval, and order updates.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and sales outside our terms.

We do not use your information for advertising.

We set two essential cookies: one that keeps you signed in, and one that remembers this browser has acknowledged the research-use statements, so you are not asked again on it. That cookie lasts as long as your browser allows (about 400 days) and is renewed on each visit. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers that run the site for us, such as our hosting and email delivery providers, only as far as they need it to do that work;
• with shipping carriers, to deliver your orders;
• when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our members, or the public.

We keep account and order records while your account is open and for as long afterward as we need them for legal, tax, and compliance purposes. Acknowledgment and re-affirmation records are a compliance audit trail: they are never edited and are kept even if your account is closed.

Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and access to stored data is limited to the people who run the store. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

• You can switch individual email notifications off on your account page. Emails needed to run your account, such as confirmation and password resets, are always sent.
• You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to close your account and delete what we are not required to keep, by emailing support@goodvibepeps.com.

The site is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21, and we delete it if we learn we have.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and we will email members about any significant change.
